The Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy is an elementary Pre-K through Grade 8 school, located on five campuses in the Dorchester and Mattapan neighborhoods of the City of Boston, that dynamically prepares children for life in the 21st century. A stimulating and robust curriculum, enlightened by Catholic teaching, offers all our students an excellent education in a faith-filled and supportive environment. Our Academy strives to create an atmosphere where the Gospel message is proclaimed, community in Christ is experienced, service to our brothers and sisters is the norm and thanksgiving and worship of God is reverently and joyfully celebrated.

September 2: Pre-K and K1 Teddy Bear Picnic
September 7: Lunch and Extended Day Programs begin.
September 24: Opening Mass at St. Peter's Church (All are welcome to attend!)

September 24, 2010 Opening Mass - Look at Us Now!
On September 24, 2010, the Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy will gather at St. Peter's Church at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate the beginning of the 2010 school year and to recognize the visionaries of the 2010 Initiative. All are welcome to attend! A reception will be held at the St. Peter's Teen Center following the Mass.
